Rob Cushing for Manlius Town Highway Superintendent
Rob Cushing has served the Town of Manlius Highway Department for 30 years, including the last 15 as superintendent. A lifelong resident and second-generation public servant, Rob leads a team of 23 employees responsible for maintaining over 120 miles of roads. Known for his hands-on leadership, he’s often out with his crew—whether it’s plowing in the early morning hours or responding to emergencies across the town.
Laura Peschel for Manlius Receiver of Taxes
Laura is seeking reelection as the Town of Manlius Receiver of Taxes. She has been married to her husband Tom for 40 years and they have resided in the Village of Manlius for 37 years. Laura has served the residents of the Town of Manlius for 41 years. Beginning as the Deputy Receiver of Taxesand continuing on for 34 years as the Receiver of Taxes.
Carrie Grevelding for Manlius Town Clerk
Carrie is a long-time resident of the Town of Manlius and volunteer with local youth sports. Carrie served on the East Syracuse Minoa Little League board for several years as her children worked their way through the program. She has a vast knowledge of emergency services with over 20 years of experience working as a dispatcher for the Onondaga County Emergency Communications Center.
Maria Mahar for Manlius Town Councilor
Maria Mahar is a dedicated public servant with over 25 years of experience improving the lives of Onondaga County residents. She currently serves as the Deputy Commissioner of Adult and Long-Term Care Services, where she leads initiatives that support seniors, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities—ensuring that some of the community’s most vulnerable have access to the care, dignity, and resources they deserve.
Tim Kelly for Manlius Town Councilor
Timothy Kelly is a lifelong resident of Onondaga County and a committed member of the Town of Manlius community, where he lives with his wife and three children. He has served as Chairman of the Town of Manlius Republican Committee and Chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals, where he worked to promote responsible development and local accountability. A certified EMT and Vice President of NAVAC Ambulance, Tim brings hands-on experience in public safety and community service.
