Rick Kunz is a distinguished U.S. Coast Guard veteran and a 23-year member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, where he achieved the equivalent rank of Lieutenant Commander and served as commander of 9thEastern Districts, Division 2, overseeing flotillas in Oswego, Ithaca, Syracuse, Brewerton and Sylvan Beach.
Scott McInnis is a lifelong resident of the Town of Dewitt. Having grown up in the Village of East Syracuse and subsequently moving to the Franklin Park neighborhood of the Town of Dewitt. Scott is a dedicated public safety professional and community leader. He serves as the President of the East Syracuse Fire Department, a volunteer organization that provides fire protection and emergency services to the village and surrounding areas.
Tom Carello is a long-time DeWitt resident with over two decades of dedicated public service. He volunteered on the DeWitt Zoning Board for 23 years, including 13 years as Chairperson, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the town’s development policies. His working career was always in management as well as volunteer service.
Karla Antelli Pavese is a civil litigation manager at Weisberg & Zukher, PLLC, a law firm based in Syracuse, New York. With a strong passion for the strategic and intellectual challenges of civil litigation, she plays a key role in managing legal cases and fostering team collaboration within the firm. Karla received her undergraduate degree from LeMoyne College concentrating on bio physics. She received her Juris Doctorate from Northwestern California School of Law.
Robert T. Tackman is a lifelong Central New Yorker, experienced public servant, and community-focused leader running for the DeWitt Town Council. With 18 years of experience in the financial industry, along with a strong background in municipal leadership and civic engagement, Robert brings a steady, common-sense approach to local government.
He served two terms as Mayor of the Village of East Syracuse, where he led efforts to strengthen essential services, modernize infrastructure, and maintain balanced, transparent budgets. Beyond elected office, Robert has held leadership roles on several nonprofit boards and advisory committees, where he has provided financial oversight, supported youth and family services, and helped guide long-term planning for community programs.
